Ubuntu/Linux: Clicking on a link loads the URL “%u” in the browser
It seems like the way URLs are opened in the Unity desktop shipped with Ubuntu has changed from the way it was like in GNOME. To fix it, open a terminal window and type “gconf-editor” and hit “enter”. An editor for a global configuration store opens.
/desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http/command. You will find a value like “firefox %u” or “chrome %u”. Replace “%u” by “%s”. Repeat at similar places (e.g. for https) where needed. You don’t have to restart ezDL or Unity for changes to take effect.
