We just released ezDL 1.5. And this time there are new features.

  • First version of a help system
  • Amazon.com book search
  • Many new features for developers
  • Plus: less bugs, more fun

Release 1.4

We just released ezDL 1.4. And this time there are new features.

  • Search results can now be grouped by several criteria - e.g. by decade.
  • There is a new fancy graph visualization for search results that helps finding important authors in a field etc.
  • Wildcards are now supported. Use "$" for a single character and "#" for any number of characters. See our help page for more information.
  • Also proximity searches are supported. Try "information NEAR/2 retrieval".
  • You can now combine queries from the query history tool with the one in the search tool.
  • Plus: less bugs, more fun.

Release 1.3

We just released ezDL 1.3 with some minor new features and a few bugfixes. The things you will probably see and like are:

  • Buttons to select/deselect all digital libraries
  • Filter field for the query history to filter for search terms

Have fun and please report any bugs you find. Not that we'd expect any, but still ;-)

Release 1.2

A new release of ezDL (1.2) has just been published.

New connections are offered to search in:

  • Mendeley
  • CiteSeerX

New features in the client are:

  • Icons for the digital libraries offered
  • Detailed progress display during a search
  • Context menus in text fields

Release 1.1

We just published release 1.1 of ezDL. New in this release are connections to

  • SpringerLink
  • IEEEXplore
  • Wiley
  • LEABIB
  • PubMed

New features in the user client are

  • The query history is saved for registered users, allowing users to continue paused search sessions
  • New extract option
  • Export of meta-data to RIS, HTML and BibTeX
